第六部 第八課: shoot , shot
- Michael 和李華剛在外面吃完晚飯．李華會學到兩個常用語： shoot 和 shot。

- 啊～，這頓飯吃得真不錯．哎，Michael, 快付帳，我們走吧．這次啊該你付了吧？
- Yeah yeah, I know. I'll just charge it to my credit card.... oh shoot! I forgot my wallet!
- 你忘了帶錢包？哎，沒有信用卡你就要 shoot. Shoot 不是開槍嗎？
- I said "Oh shoot!". If you say "shoot" loudly and suddenly, it's a way to express alarm or disappointment. If you say it slowly, and with a low tone of voice, it shows disgust or indifference.

- 李華學到了兩個常用語，一個是： shoot，這是一個驚歎詞，表示「討厭、失望或者是煩惱」，也就是有的時候心裡不高興，但是又不想用髒話罵人的時候用的詞．李華還學到了： to be shot，這是「很累」的意思。
