- Two leading candidates in this month's presidential election in Egypt have taken part in the country's first presidential debate.

- These two candidates are Former foreign minister Amr Moussa and Abdel-Moneim Abolfotoh, a moderate Islamist. Their debate was held on Thursday, lasted past midnight.
