  • China Has Record Auto Sales in 2010

  •   An industry group says Chinese auto sales rose more than 32 percent in 2010 to 18.06 million units - a new record for the world's largest car market.

  •   The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said Monday that sales in December rose 17.9 percent from a year earlier to 1.67 million units.

  •   The armed Basque separatist group ETA has declared a permanent, verifiable cease-fire in its four-decade fight for an independent homeland in northern Spain and southwestern France.
  • 西班牙巴斯克分离主义武装组织埃塔宣佈永久、可核实的停火;该组织在西班牙北部以及法国西南部為建立一个独立家园战斗了 40 年。

  •   ETA, in published and televised statements Monday, said the declaration is its "firm commitment toward a process to achieve a lasting resolution and toward an end to the armed confrontation."
