  • China Company Halts Compensation for Suicide Victims' Families

  •   Chinese electronics manufacturer Foxconn says it will stop offering financial compensation to the families of employees who kill themselves, in an effort to stop a recent spate of suicides.

  • Coast Guard: Efforts to Contain Oil Spill Are Progressing

  •   The Obama administration says efforts to contain the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico are making progress, with more oil captured each day.
