  • BBC Journalist Gets Award Hours After Release

  •   BBC journalist Alan Johnston, released Wednesday by Palestinian kidnappers in the Gaza Strip, has received an award for human rights reporting from Amnesty International.

  • US Warns WTO Talks Could Be Stalled for Years

  •   U.S. trade representative Susan Schwab has warned that global trade talks could be stalled for years unless key participants make a breakthrough soon.

  •   Schwab delivered remarks Thursday to trade ministers meeting in Australia on the first day of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum.
