  • U.S. Official in Pakistan Shooting Incident

  •   A U.S. diplomat has shot and killed two Pakistanis who he says attacked him in the city of Lahore.

  •   A Ugandan gay rights activist who was pictured and named in a newspaper article has been killed at his home, outside the capital, Kampala.

  •   Ugandan police say David Kato was killed Wednesday when an unidentified attacker entered his home and struck him on the head before fleeing.
