- US Raid Kills 7 Iraqis

- The U.S. military in Iraq says seven Iraqis, including three women, were killed during a raid targeting a suspected al-Qaida operative north of Baghdad.

- Japan's agricultural minister is stepping down over a scandal involving contaminated rice that was distributed to schools and hospitals.
